Ondřej is a jolly old fellow, so let yourself be carried away by his latest original poem:
Our classroom is called the Wagon.
Which brings to mind Žižkov,
Where our school is at home.
We like to cut pictures out of magazines.
You can try it, too.
Lucie is a fan of folk songs,
And of cheeses that have ripened long.
Nisanur knows that home cooking is the best,
Omelets, olives, and the rest.
Vojtěch like his famous namesake,
Will fast even if there is cake.
Veronika is headstrong, full of thirst,
And always wants to be the first.
Markéta loves to talk with friends,
And to help out to no end.
František, though not from Assisi,
Smiles at the world and takes it easy.
Evelína loves things that come in twos,
Balls and puppets and the news.
Nina’s home is here in Prague,
In a yurt, where she is glad.
